Woa, I thought it was a cheaper intrument (£500 max), my dreams are crushed before they begin ! It look excellent to me bu they are around £2000 here, thats a lot of money for a Yamaha, although i'm sure its great.

At the time of the prototype bass thread we were talking about a set neck bass! A prototype..!
The BB2024(x) / BB2025(x) basses show the results!

I went to a Yamaha store in Japan last Winter and they were demoing this bass, the tone was FANTASTIC!!! It had a nice punch and so much clarity, I was really surprised!

That's what happens even while playing the cheap BB series. I don't know how they do it but I like it!

Are you SURE the prices are right??? Seems WAY off. This is even more expensive than the TRB series; either Yamaha went crazy or the currency conversion had an error in it. Or maybe things in Japan are expensive (they are, btw).

I guess street will be probably around 2500$... in UK they sell in the 2250-2350 GBP range
