Yamaha bb234?

I'm thinking of buying a Yamaha bb234, can anybody give me some inside information?
It will be my beginner bass, and it's just in my price range.
How does the bass feel, and what's your overall opinion?

I've only played one for a few minutes in the shop, it's one I have been eying to buy as well. I loved how it felt, slimish neck, fast low action and no dead spots. It sounded good, but I really didn't have time to dial in a tone. It felt like a quality instrument though. Sorry, I can't offer more.
