Yamaha BB300 mij with Strat like output jack?

Hello,
I'm about to buy a mij BB300. Owner says it's 100% original but it has a "Strat like" output jack which I have never seen before. The ones i have seen have always had a straight output. Does anyone know if they used "Strat like " output on certain runs or specific years?
