Yamaha BB414 Colours

My thoughts:

Orange: kind of tacky on that bass. I've seen that color (or close to it) on Bongos and loved it, but it just doesn't work for me with that particular bass.

Black: Cheap. Plain Gloss black with no pickguard seems very low-budget and uninteresting. This would be my last choice.

Wine Red: I'd definitely go with this one. The burst looks great, and I'll bet that the deep red looks even better in person.

Just my $0.02.

i would personally go with the orange one. i think it looks really really nice and i kinda have a thing for orange colored gear and the brand orange. so it would match my ad200 head and my orange stingray.

Well, thanks for the help, guys. I bought my bass today and I settled on Black Pearl.

I decided to go for the boring, classic look.

I know, I suck.

If I had a choice, I think I would go with the Wine Red. But a local music shop has a Black Pearl and it's killin' me

I think I'm gonna go buy it either tommorrow or wednesday...

This is probably gonna cramp some brains, but it was the lower score for the Black Pearl that sold me on it. If the Black Pearl had won the poll, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

It's probably some pervese element of my logic, but I feel good about buying the "least popular" colour.

Is that weird?
