Yamaha BB414 Colours

Alrighty,

I've decided to buy the Yamaha BB414, but I'm stuck on which colour I should buy; it's pretty much a 3 way tie for me.

I've been thinking about the colours and I have this to add:

BLACK PEARL - It's a classic, but it may get boring. Also, I saw the guy from the Goo Goo Dolls playing a black BB414 on their newest video, and I almost barfed.

ORANGE METALLIC - It's stands out the most, but it might be a little too loud.

WINE RED - There's something about a "burst"-style finish that looks wrong to me without a pickguard. And I don't like No Doubt that much.

Maybe I should just go to the local music shop and buy a blem regardless of colour, eh?

It's got to be the wine red my man.

The orange has got something going on, but I think it would quickly start to annoy me, and that glossy black just looks cheap. The red on, the other hand, is one of the better finishes that I've seen, on any bass. Very stylish.

I haven't seen the orange in person but I can tell you that photos don't do the wine red any justice.

In person, it's nice, deep, and rich -- it's a very classy look!

Orange you glad I didn't say apple? Sorry. My 4 year old has been saying that all week. All the colors looks good, but the one I pulled down at Sam Ash was orange - it looked the best.

i think you should get orange and when you get bored of it sand off that paint and put a gloss on it for a natrual look!
