Yamaha BB425 vs BB605?

Hi there!
I’m looking for an upgrade from my first bass and I’ve found both a used Yamaha BB425 for $400 and a used BB605 for $150. Which would you choose and why?

BB605

Better tone IMO, smaller body and less weight, better electronics.

Both are great, but while $400 for 425 is a fair deal, $150 for the 605 is an absolute bargain. BB425 is plug and play, great chunky rock tones, think a P bass with some unique character added plus extra versatility. BB605 takes more knob twisting, the preamp is quirky, but does many great tones too.
