You won't be dissapointed. I feel a bit like a criminal for getting my BB614 so cheap - did they make a pricing mistake ?

Yeah, I thought so too, but I just scored some rotosounds for my Jazz bass, and they don't have any wraps at all!! They are the nickle kind (swing bass 66). Maybe they are rotosound stainless steel strings...? Whatever they are, they sound fabulous - just fabulous, especially thru the SVT!

Yeah! Mine is just like this, except I have a pickup selector switch and not vol/vol/tone... Very sharp, indeed! That is the wine color, right?
BBG5A that I bought in 1998 in Japan. A really nice sounding bass, and plays great. I don't play 5 string in my current band, so itisn't getting much use right now, but I'm holding on to it until I need it again.
I was never a big fan of the looks of the BB basses. I actually think they're ugly. Just My Opinion though.
Alright count me in I recently bought me a Yamaha RBX375 and love it,..I am going to restring it with a High C after these strings wear out as I dont have much use for the B.

The TRB1004, 1005 and 1006 are great basses. I don't like the 1005FL (fretless) thought, doesn't sound "Fretless" enought for me. They are great instruments though.

Always wanted one first time round but could not afford it.So when the reissue came round i was really pleased.
It is great to play but the pickups seem very sensitive to the direction i face when playing (i get a loud hum) as if there is a shielding problem, i have played many other basses through the amp using the same leads with no problem.
Has anybody else noticed this....
