I used to have one exactly like that. I put a Bart pickup in it and it sounded amazing. They might be the low end basses by Yamaha, but they are well made.

Yeah, Barts are what I'm currently leaning toward. Glad to hear from someone else who's had one. Do you have any idea when they were made?

I probably overpaid but tbh, I couldn't care less, I love the way it plays and feels and I was really surprised with the different tones I can get out of it.

Mwaaaaah. It has a very powerful pre that gives a broad palette of tones and a smooth feel. I couldn't bring myself to have an all Music Man line up because I like this bass so much.

Alright count me in I recently bought me a Yamaha RBX375 and love it,..I am going to restring it with a High C after these strings wear out as I dont have much use for the B.

Hey Trance, you made it. Get a Yamaha TRB1006, like mine, if you want higher notes. Tune it EADGCF like me, and leave your 5 string BEAD. Just my 2 cents on the situation.

If I was going to buy a 6er, it would be the JM2 on looks alone!! I like the spacing and the scale length too if that translates from a 5 to a 6 anyway I can barely play a 5er though
