There's quite a few threads about this head lately. I've had mine since March '05 (when they were $600). Yes, I like it. Lots of easily achieved sounds. Can change on the fly quickly, which would be good for cover bands that do a wide range of styles. Works well at 2 ohms so you can throw whatever combination of cabs you got. I have 2 EA wizzy cabs but a 2x10/15 combo would go well with this also. It only weigh 10 lb's. SWEET. 500 watts @2ohms. SWEETER. covers the gamut in tones. SWEETER YET :hyper:

Here's my Yamaha TRB1006

Dollar in neck to give an idea of the size of the neck. :D

What would you say your favorite specific features about that bass are? I personally love the thumbrests in the pups and how easy it is to take out/put in strings with that bridge

The thumbrests are a cool innovation. But I just love the TONE of this - from weepin-puppy sweet to snarlin Doberman to Cocker Spaniel happy!

And substantial! It's gotta be the Humvee of Basses!

I'm in! I'm in! My camera is out of batteries but I've had my new 374 since friday. It's freaking amazing. I've owned some pretty high end basses and this thing is the ****. Thank you zzounds for your "blemished" pricing. There's a small scratch on the back of the neck; therefor the price was reduced by $80!

WOOH!!!!

I got my 375 "blemished" also from zzounds (over $100 off!!!) and it must have been a display model, the only thing I can see is one tuner very slightly twisted down.

I've got the BB414 like the ones that are pictured already. On a side note, does anyone know what kind of stock strings are on the 414? They sound great!!!

Best $400 bucks I ever spent on a bass, and it's easily one of the nicest basses I've owned. Stingrays, and all! Beats most of the Fenders I've owned - the MIM ones anyway...
