Yamaha Owners

I play a BB604. I liked it at first note after trying out some economy basses in a couple of stores.
My reason was better get a real Yamaha than a fake Fender for the same money. My guitarist had just switched from a Fender Strato to a Fender Strato.
The newer was made in a different place and costed 1000 Euro more, so it must be much better :smug: . I did not want to go through that.

I don't own one, but almost every Yamaha I've played, from beginner models, to the expensive ones, have been good sounding, good playing, solid basses. I'd definitely own one if the right circumstances arose.

I have 2, a Yamaha Attitude (pics of the tude below) and a RBX 775....

Great basses

Chronologically I've owned:

RBX250 - P Style Beginner (first instrument) :hyper:
BB350F - Big Fretless J Style
Pointy Ibanez 5 - :spit:
RBX 765A - 5 String Active :D
TRB5 - Similar to the 765A, but stronger neck, more transparent tone :bassist:

Oh yeah and half a dozen Yamaha Keyboards, speakers, and synths (all cool).

I'm about to yank the frets out of the 765A.

When you start with Yamaha, it's hard to find anything else playable for less than twice the price, so I just stuck with it.
