Yamaha rbx 375 preamp CI change

Hi guys, this is my first topic in this great forum that helps me a lot. my intention is to find out only if it would really make sense to change the IC of a preamp circuit to get real improvement or would it just be a delirium? I read the information in another forum and I was in doubt. I know he has great sound, but his structure is very good and deserves a better preamp, thanks.
