Yamaha RBX4 A2 Arrives

Do I dare try to remove the rod and put wax on it somewhere?
I believe that would be impossible in this case.

Generally, loosening the trussrod nut/bolt/screw of a tight one will get the mechanism safely free, but if it won't even loosen after slackening the strings, then backloading the neck a bit will do it.

The point is never to fight the trussrod -- eventually, you'll lose bigtime.
