Double Bass Yamaha SLB 200 Fixing arm 2 issue

Hey,

Hope I'm not being really thick but I can't for the life of me attach the fixing arm 2 to the back of the bass. The washer etc won't catch and I can't tighten it. It was fine at the shop. I won't be able to get back there until a week from now. Any insights?

Maybe this will help - if not, take some photos of your bass so I can see what's going on. Based on what you said I think the thumbscrew might be tightened.
