Hi, looking for some advice.
I play the Yamaha SLB-200. It sounds fine on my small 1x10 combo but it is very rare that I use an amp these days and for the most part I'm going directly to the PA. I use a Fishman Platinum Pro pedal with its DI out.
The problem is that whether I use the Fishman Pedal, any Radial DI, or the DI coming out of my GK MB-500, there is a pretty noticeable amount of hiss in the PA and in the IEMs. The only time when I can't hear it is when plugging it into the combo.
It is bothering me so much that I have stopped using it and I'm seriously considering removing the preamp from the EUB. Does anyone have any advice? Is this common?
