Yamaha trbx604 or Ibanez sr600e

Hello im thinking of buying a 2nd bass after years with a squier pj. Tried marcus miller j basses were nice but not for me now im between trbx 604 which ican get for 670 euros atm and sr600e which is priced at 830. From what i understand 604 is newer but sr has newer pickups or smth. Im intrested on which can play cleaner quickly for smth like progressive funk. Also which is more versatile but mostly just if im getting moneys worth for both basses cause 160 euros is a big diff for me and tho i think sr looks a bit better i like the yamaha as well i dont think appearance alone makes up for 160 euro gap

I have the 600e and the neck is comfy for my small hands and it sounds great. But, I'm longing for a hard poly finished bass in the same category (active, 24 fret) not raw wood like the Ibanez.
