Yeah Right!

You know, there was a time when eBay was not so big that they actually policed themselves. Now the service sucks.

I cannot believe how rampant the scam game is, you can't put anything on bassgear with some jackass offering a $5K check for a $75 pedal.

There are a whole lot of people out there who actually suck as human beings.

Truer words were never written. This concise statement explains a great deal about the modern world, as well as much of history.

As well as many things on ebay. The same damn picture and description of a "mint condition" 1984 Steinberger L-2 in a private one-day auction appears every single week. :spit:

Perhaps they should contract w/TB -- we never seem to miss a good scam!

:hiding:

It's a Whole Different story with pics! :D

But Still, even with a pic, who would trust that kinda money on ebay?!! Hmm, i wonder...:rollno:

last month i saw a similar thread like this (something rediculous for sale on ebay) The guy wants to sell abt 11 VINTAGE fenders at once for abt half a million!!

but my fav ebay thread was the one on the air guitar! LOL!
(you guys who saw know what im talking abt):D

It certainly is a magnificent instrument, with most of the desirable bells and whistles; plus it's 32" like Alembic's first bass. That's the version of things that is ergonomic and has great tone for a 4.

Still, it's the kind of instrument that if you had the dough and got it for, say $3200 - $3500, you'd feel about right with the deal.

Another comment, with plane tickets costing $300 or so, a person would be nuts not to go pick it up F2F. Too much to trust to the wires. and software.
