Seems to me a new pair of EMG HZs would probably cost you more than that entire bass, so yeah, seems like a good value. The more important question is - do you like the feel and sound of the bass? If not, the best value deal is still not a good deal (for you).

As much as I personally don't like them.....they sound pretty good. £70 is pretty much a win.....if it plays good, go for it.

I like the way the 4-string plays actually. It's easy to get around and sounds decent. Good back-up bass for sure.

I voted YES, though I am not a big fan of modern Dean instruments, though there are some I DO like on a case-by-case basis. At any rate, I have to see what the OP is talking about.

No pics I'm afraid, but it appears to be an older model with the passive EMG-HZ pickups(?), three knobs and a deep v-cut in the headstock.
