Yet another satisfied Hartke customer...

It still amazes me that the LH500/LH1000 are so inexpensive. I have owned a ton of amps, and the LH series are among the best sounding I have had. Very impressive units. The only downside is the weight, but for the tone I don't care!

Got mine for $297 brand new from zzounds.com, free shipping, no sales tax. It was delivered in 2 business days. That's probably the best deal I ever got.

I agree. And (on a side note) just once in my LH 1000's life I'd love to run 4 Hydrive 410's off of it just because. :)

LOL I thought I had just fallen over, BurningSkies! Thanks for clearing that up.

Man there is a LOT of Hartke love on here! I am out right now and having trouble finding bass cabs... let alone Hartke! Looks like a loooong day with nothing to show for it is coming.

Bassplayerbob, I am in a little town in GA called americus... a civil war era town in the middle of a trio of larger cities - NONE of which have any music "box stores". However, I am at the LAST stop on the list at a mom and pop operation and I have apparently hit the motherload!

I am in the middle of haggling with the guy now about a Hydrive 410... he's in the back right now "checking with the manager". Wish me luck!

Checking with the manager, huh? Sounds like you've found a car dealer that's selling bass cabs.

I went to the music store that I deal with in Milwaukee today (3 1/2 hours one way) to exchange my Mesa Titan that has been giving me issues. I ended up going with a Mesa M9 Carbine. The reason that I am posting on this forum is because the Jeff Coffin Band was giving a clinic at the store (Cascio Interstate Music - New Berlin , WI). The band was using the music stores equipment and the bassist (Felix Pastorious) was playing a Fedora Monarch through a Hartke LH1000 and a Hydrive 115 cabinet. All I can say is that Felix is an INCREDIBLE bassist (Totally blew me away!! My jaw is still on the floor hours later) and he sounded awesome through the Hartke rig. I am definitely going to pick up some of their CD's in the near future. Jeff Coffin plays Saxaphone in his band and also has played with Dave Mathews since 2008 when the original Sax player passed away. I recommend checking out this band and bass player if you appreciate musicianship.
That said - If I decide to go a different direction from my M9 - Hartke will definitely be my next stop. They are so reasonably priced that I may get one anyways for a back-up or to change things up once in a while.

Well, you WOULD behold if I could get the photo from my phone to my computer, but I am officially the proud new owner of a Hartke Hydrive 410!! Brand new, complete with Speakon cable and a new strap - $550 out the door! :hyper:

Of course, the first thing I had to do after getting it home was crank it to eleven and shake the walls... MAN what a fantastic noise! Make a bloke wanna play a little. I guess all the work is over; now it's time for the FUN to start. :bassist:

Thanks to all that helped throughout the long ordeal of finding a head and a cab. Feels good to finally be able to update my "gear" section of the profile.
