yet another sx thread

i have a sunburst precision sx. no modifications except for a tortoise pickguard and many many many dents and chips. anyone feel that these are inferior to most bass guitars? i honestly like the tone and feel better than a real fender. the action is awesome and i have gigged with it for years! by the way, i do dislike the bridge. i am only willing to spend 30-40 on a new one-no 150 badass bridges! who can help out with this?

I scored a Schaller roller bridge off e-Bay used for 30 bucks. Being that there's an issue with some SXs with the strings not perfectly lining up between the pickup pole pieces, I'd definitely get something with adjustable spacing. The Schaller was perfect, IMO. Even with cost being no object, I am partial to that bridge over a BA anyway. :)

I've got a nice heavy duty bridge from Guitar Electronics I don't need and it will bolt right on the SX.I put one on a P/J SX I had and it works great.I'll send you a PM.
