Just joined TB today. I'm a refugee from the late, lamented Lowdown Forum that was so unceremoniously eliminated a few weeks back. Any other refugees here? I'm a 50-something human but a young bass player, having picked it up 12 years ago. Play (and sing) in a classic rock cover band near Philly. Go-to bass is an '08 Fender American Standard Jazz, but I also play an Epiphone Jack Casady.

Yo back Richard, you sound like me! However i have only been playing on and off for about 8 years (mostly off). Looks like a pretty cool forum here. I hope to see you posting it up! That Fender jazz sounds nice -i have one in a Squire -vintage wood finish. I love Fender!
