I'd like to hear more about this Hofner bass Paul supposedly rented in the mid-1960s. News to me. It wouldn't be the first time a bass supposedly connected to Paul has sold at auction.
What's this got to do with basses? It wouldn't be talkbass if everyone kept posting things about any old stringed instruments! The forum would soon turn into something else and people would go elsewhere to discuss bass-related stuff.
