I play at a good size church. This past Sunday was unique, during our sound check 1 of the camera man was assigned to dial in the board during rehearsal (strange). Now our AH digital board will store presets (scenes) for quick recall etc. I brought a bass that I had not used on a Sunday morning, dialed stage sound in, sounded great in my IEM left it at that. I asked guy what he thought of sound and he said at 1st boomy and he adjusted. I didn't think anything about it till after the service the regular soundman came to me and wanted to know where the bottom support went to. I told my wife things like this used to aggravate me but hey, I have NO control of what comes out of the mains.

I gave up worrying about things I have no control over out front (such as the above comment) long ago..
If you don't, you'll drive yourself nuts!
