Gotta admit... I'm still kind of up in the air about it myself. But the thing is... everyone of my "builds" has a Felix the Cat sticker on it. We'll see what happens.Eew... sticker!
jk, looks awesome
Well... ok... you got me.Don't you mean hate you more than we already do?! ;-)
Not sure how creative it was. It just kinda "happened."Love it! Creativity is a wonderful thing.

Yeah, I figured...Cool bass!
You're absolutely right.
I hate you.
Very much.
For no reason.

Well... in this case, compared to most of my other basses, it's more of a Hyundai that handles like a Ferrari.Look at it this way. One can have anything they want done to a rolls royce and it is still a rolls royce.

Sooooooooooo... yeah...
Let the crucifixion begin.
It begins here. For a long while... I've ha a '99, Sterling 4H pre/pickup set, in a drawer. Figured that, one day... I may "build something", or... use it in a bass that "died." NYET. I decided to sell it. @Lesfunk said... "No way!!! Keep it. Build something!!!" A couple of days later, no joke... I visited a friend. He had this Samick bass that I sold him for 100 bucks a while ago (with the case!!!) sitting on his couch. One look, and I felt the regret, As the control knobs, and MM rout looked FAMILIAR. I "borrowed" it, and... my pre fit like a LOOSE glove. Sooooo... I bought another one (for roughly 300 bucks). Oh well. A little filing to "egg shape" the holes, and... VIOLA!!! Hence the brass washers. Next... off to my "guy" for wiring/soldering. I'm not a patient person, and 88 bucks is fine with me. Besides... I'm not sure if I'm even gonna like this. I have a Sterling Special 4H, Sterling 4, Sterling 4HS, Sterling 5HH, and... not to mention... many other EBMM/Pre EBMM models. Yeah, I'm a fan. But... back to the EBMM, Sterling line...
I'll make it short, and sweet...
I put this pre, and OG pup in this Greg Bennett Bass, and... IT RULES!!
Go ahead... HATE ME. Sorry. But... I now have a bound and blocked, semi hollow body MM Sterling 4H, and I LOVE IT!!!
