A drummer friend was recently having dinner with my family. He was proposing we start a "prog cover band". He kept naming songs and bands. My wife, whose music collection is pretty eclectic ... but contains zero prog (of course, because she's normal)... looked at me and said "You won't mind if I take some friends and go see *insert name of cheesy local top 40 band here* on the nights you guys play, right?"
We're not starting a prog band. I like to play in front of humans. And I don't like complex math.
