Here are several clips from a recent show we did at Herman's Hideaway in Denver. I'm playing my Skjold 6-string in all of these, running through my MarkBass LMII, and then out of its DI into the FOH, from which the sound signal comes for this recording. In other words, the cabinet is not heard here.

The OP asks for chops - check out Red Baron, an instrumental where everyone gets a chance to work out. The keyboard solo is awesome!

I'm up there... once...

This particular event is an annual one that's coming up again FAST. This year, it's a day of BLUES MUSIC in honor of our late, great friend, Alligator Records artist BILL PERRY. If you're in Orange County New York THIS SUNDAY (JULY 27TH), come to the Bertoni Gallery in Sugarloaf and hear some just like this, but even better. :bassist:

Oh the rig in the video... nothing but a Music Man Stingray through an SWR Super Redhead. Two tunes later, that SWR got worked too hard and shucked its mortal coil. Well, speaker coil anyway. The bass took its leave of me a couple months later, and now I'm back to my tried and true LAKLANDS! :D

Maybe I'll see you Sunday.
