Anyway, the gear is my Frankenbass, which mysteriously changes necks and electronics every few weeks. On this night the bass's makeup was its alder body with a maple/ebony neck and EMG P/Js. I ran into an Ampeg V4B. Don't recall what channel or settings were used. Ran the head into a sealed Carvin 2x10 and an SWR Big Ben. They blended a mic'ed and direct sound. Oh, yeah, and I had a Russian Muff engaged toward the end of the song.

I like the tones overall. The playing... not so much. But whatever. Check out our theremin player. She kicks butt!

Awesome! Great tone, you can really hear that V-4 grunt.

Ok, I have no shame.

This was our first gig ever. We're under no delusions. We're just a bunch of friends from a boozing running club and we thought we'd play for the rest at a huge party we have every year. The results were predictable and we had a BLAST!!!

All I have is some youtube video and it's rotated 90 degrees (did I mention we were ALL drunk?)

I actually think you have a very funky and melodic approach...

other than the terrible background hiss in two of the vids, my only comment is you need to "hear the drummer in your head" a little more. If you can do that, I think you have the potential to groove your ass off...great stuff!

Playing burning spears 'creation rebel', this was over 1 1/2 years ago, surprising how much better i can play such a simple tune now. not tooooo bad tho. mellow.

you can't really see me though! haha (how it usually is with bassists on camera it seems.. :( )

Here is a small video of me playing piece of songs I've made with a camera... its pretty crappy so thats why its dim (i actually had to go in and brighten it to get it how it is)... my first video i made just because I was bored... will eventually add some other stuff.
