Taken from a gig I did with my college band back in March. For the first 2 songs and the last song (Nobody, Smooth and What's Goin On) I used my frankenbass, called Big Frank..or the Frankencaster. Westone Spectrum GT neck with the body of a Dean. Not too sure which amp I was using but I was going through my Behringer Compressor/Sustainer, which I admitidly had up way too high.
For the other 2 songs, Gravity and Press On, I used my Yamaha TRB 1006 again through the Compressore/Sustainer pedal.
Sound guy wasn't too hot...took a while for him to realise that I should be heard. I'm most easily heard through Smooth I believe.
Anyway, let me know what you think. I was challenged with a couple of classic bass lines which I did my best to uphold.
Oh and as a tip for those just starting out...warm up before every single gig. Period. I didn't warm up at all...completely slipped my mind...and about 1/4 through the first song, my hand cramps up. Lesson learned...
