You do need some vision or integrity, but keep in mind, it is the AUDIENCE you are there to please.
Imagine if the dude who built your car decided to respect his own intuition and wired your brakes "his way" instead of what his audience liked. Don't forget, playing in public is a job... please your boss/customer or go home.

No, on stage, you are the "production guy" ie you are PRODUCING the music, I mean unless every song you play is anon the spot improvisation with not only the song, but also the equipment and band sound.

What was I arguing for? Because it was an offhand remark made as a joke that you and you alone turned into something I never intended, and I thought that maybe saying that it meant nothing would eventually redirect your focus to the greater picture. But after the first 100 times, if you don't get it by then, you never will, so I figured ignoring you would stop it. And that didn't work, either. Next stop is reporting you for harassing me. Haven't done it yet but I will. You made your point, so let it go.

Do what you want. Just remember you are in a public forum and you should coexist with the rest of the opinions specially when you start a thread...If you cant tolerate that just write a book with your advices.
Instead of checking every comment and replying compulsively to everybody who doesnt share your opinion, over and over, just let us express our view without your constant refuting of everything. Just give us a break...
