I was listening to the Magical Mystery Tour last nite. Penny Lane is scary good. The sound on Baby You're A Rich Man is also incredible. I guess that's their first forray out of Abbey Road, I guess it was done by Eddie Kramer at Olympic Studios.

Just an observation.

Do mccartney play fast or is it just Melodic?

I have seen him on the Movie Let it Be when he plays on the roof and playing Get back his fingers is all over the place. And still he sings perfectly.

Paul McCartney is definitely not about playing fast. In fact none of the Beatles were.

Something is probably my favorite line of his, and it's the only one I've fully transcribed. My favorite part is the embellishment he does on the second measure of the last verse. Anyway, it's hard for me to pick five. I'd have to say all of Abbey Road, most of Seargent Peppers, most noteably With a Little Help from My Friends, and a few other songs like I've Got a Feeling, and Rain.
