Your "Always-on" pedal

fDeck HPF-3 and Empress Accountant are always-on. Technically my JDI is always-on, but being a passive device it might be more apt to say that it's always-off.... always-there?

My One Control Mosquite Blender w/BJF Buffer is technically always-on as the buffer is at the front of my signal chain. The loop is switched in and out, but the buffer is always there, so I'm counting it.

I have my tuner on always with a line through/bypass so it doesn't mute the sound. Then after that I have a hand made latching kill switch. It means that if for whatever reason I go out of tune during a song I can sort of make up for it by switching up a fret if needs be.

So, I was wondering. Do you guys have a pedal that you can't possibly live without? Your "always-on" pedal?

EBS Valvedrive is always on (modern mode, some eq, tiny bit of gain). Taurus Abigar is on 80% of the time - moderate overdrive that can be controlled by playing softer/harder.

I could live without the EBS, I could not live without the Abigar.

modded BBE opto stomp. I set it up to run on 18V and added a 36dB/octave active high pass filter with the cutoff set at 30Hz.
Is it a big improvement I just got one I like it a lot as it is I don't likely need to modify it is my always on pedal along with a very subtle reverb and recently acquired boss lmb3 bass limiter but as soon as I fix up my Joyo American Sound and add Bass Muff Pi I reckon one or the other will always be on
