Your band name...

Matt Till said:
You know... a hypen or a space might work wonders for your band. I see it as heroin credible too... which I think is a little more clever.

I joined the band roughly 3 months ago, so it wasn't my choice of name. I know why they chose it, but leaving it unhyphenated is confusing for people who don't know us. We do bring a globe to every show and get people to sign it for when we take over the world(sign the piece of land you want, so you get it when we dominate the world). Its almost full up, so we are working on finding a moon. And as for the name being heroin credible...I suggested we start selling heroin to make more money, but I was thwarted :rollno:

I just remembered another band I was in...Silence in Noise. Lasted roughly 2-3 months after I joined, then the drummer just sortof found another band. On top of that we rehearsed about 4 times, no gigs.

'The Pipers' - a classic rock styled band that I left because, artistically, I did not get along with the guitarist.

'Chasm -Hz' - My current progressive/metal/expirimental/psychedelic band, we are currently workign on a few songs. The spelling of "Chasm" may change. The -Hz refers to using the bass as a bigger part of the music.

Back in the 80s (when I actually played for others!) I was in two bands. One was called Major Minor and the other was called... Crap I don't remember anymore. :crying: But we helped burn a taxicab :smug:

I think that "Crap I don't remember anymore", is an AWSOME name for a band! You should have kept it! LOL
just kidding...:D

Now that I'm older and forgetfull, do you mind if I use it? ;)

I was in a band that formed right after Mt. St. Helens blew and we called ourselves "Tremor", and I was in a 3-piece cover band called "The Domestics". We all played while our girlfriends had jobs and supported us. Our slogan was "we don't do windows", and our Logo was a double-hung window with the circle with the slash through it over the top.

I hate my current band name. I hate it now more than I hated it yesterday. I hated it yesterday more than I hated it the day before. Therefore I shall not post it.

I have hated most of the band names of the bands I have been in.

I have liked:
Drop Forge
Bondo Camaro
and Compound Red.

I had always hated Compound Red, until I found out that it was the pink sawdust stuff school bus drivers put on puke.

That would be Koala, wouldn't it? 'Cause I'm pretty sure you're in a band named Koala. If I was in a band named Koala, I think it might annoy me after a while, too, but then again I've never had the pleasure of being in a band named Koala.
