I don't know exactly why, and they don't look at all alike, but I always consider my Upton in the same league as my RAM Night Edition. Both are solidly built and a blast to drive.

I literally just watched the Motor Mythbusters episode where they built a Flintstones car earlier today.

All of my basses have visible evidence that they're made of wood. The one bass I have that has paint, I left the grain unfilled - you can see that it's wood. I am not a fan of gloss painted finishes - Make the wood thing out of nice looking wood; you don't need paint.

No lies, I really often feel like a monster truck in my hands with my little and humble p bass when I play hard rock with my buddies for the fun of it between us.
