Good to see a few people scored some deals on Friday. For me, finding the deals is almost more fun that actually buying the item. As the appointed "IT guy" in my circle of friends, I was tasked by many of them to find a good deal on various computer related items. It was fun tracking down the deals, and a few of my friends compensated me with one of my favorites....coffee.

My haul was some extra sleep. I sold more stuff than I bought on Black Friday.

Black Friday is for wasting tons of money on electronics with such a rapid depreciating value the person might as well buy a toilet, hook it up, and flush the money that way. Saves the trip.

Seems to me DVDs are all the rage in Wal-Mart, they got 18 rows of them cramming the aisles. I knew people that wasted thousands on DVDs over the course of years and sold them for $2 each after the fact. Yuck.

Well, Black Friday is coming to a close. I didn't get out this year and participate in the madness because I don't need anything.

Well, I did get a new 32" Samsung 1080p LCD TV for $277. As good a price as you'll find in stores and it was delivered to my house the day before Thanksgiving.

What did you guys bring home?

You got a good deal on the TV. I didn't do any shopping on Black Friday.
But on Cyber Monday, I done treated myself. I got a music instrument (not a bass) I've been saving up for for over a year.

Well we don't have this here since i'm in canada (and our thanksgiving is like earleir and not really a big deal, here the equivalent is boxing day right after xmas) so being oblivious to most of this, yesterday, just by chance, I decided to shop for my gf xmas gift online and then found out it was cyber monday. Ended up saving 33$ on the gift (which is itself amazing and i DO expect to hear something akin to "this is the best gift ever" when it it unwrapped). Nice.
