    I wanted to share with you all a song I have written and arranged specifically to showcase some of my favorite
    bass-playing peers.

    Featured Bassists in order:
    Jon Reshard, Taylor Lee, Cody Wright, Jay Laws, Shaun Calloway, and Bubby Lewis.

    I did the poll on here purely out of good fun, not a who is the best game, rather who's solo did you connect with the most?

    I guess stylistically, Bubby Lewis plays the best. I would have liked to have had the melody stated longer so artists could have improvised based more on the melody instead of their “licks catalog.”

    Other than the fella wearing the Saints shirt... I'd go with Calloway. Many of th ed others had good bits, but I generally felt there were too manh notes for my taste.
