G&L SB-2 USA. It was the bass that converted me from "guitarist who can play bass in my band" to actually defining myself as a bassist full stop. I love every part of that bass!

I've owned MANY. To date, my Best playing USA made bass (or any of my basses, for that matter) is my 1987 Peavey Fury. It plays frighteningly well. I paid $180 for it at a pawn shop. I wouldn't sell it for $1,080.

My 2013 Fender American Deluxe Precision bass is the best bass I've ever owned.

I have an Am Dlx Jazz too, but I like the P more.

I have same bass with same year with alder body and rosewood fingerboard, also I have jazz version too, like you, with ash body and maple finger board. But P's bridge pickup weaker/thin than jazz version. I don't know why bridge pickup sound thin. Maybe, N3 pickup is not suitable for alder PJ. How is yours?
