Close call. The middle section of To Live Is to Die that gets quiet and then surges into a crescendo is as close to defining the term "Epic" as possible.
However, as an overall song Orion has a better flow, musical narrative, some truly spectacular bass work, and some tasty riffs. My personal affection for the song stems from many, many blindingly drunk weekends in High School, partying to that song with my friends.

I stopped after the black album. I'd choose The Call of Ktulu off Ride the Lightning just to be different from the Orion guys, but not because Orion is bad.

Actually, I used to play along with every tune on every album up with Cliff on it (I had the Kill 'Em All with Am I Evil? and Blitzkrieg) straight thru when I was a teenager. As far as I was concerned, they were ALL instrumentals, and all were backing tracks for Cliffing Out (tm).
