It's just not the who anymore. It's like saying you like the post plane-crash blink 182. It's just a flat out lie! I think it's kinda the rest of the band's fault, I mean they could've choosen someone better than him. someone closer to John... not someone they think is good because he is about the same age. Of course the who hasn't been the who sence Keith died, so when Robert and Pete die let's replace them and say it's the same band. They figure it's not important cause Keith was 'just a drummer' and John 'just a bassist' that means Rob is 'just a singer' and Pete 'just a guitarist'. I hate how people just look past the rythm section.
Keith would switch bass drum lead foot from right to left. That's like you switching from right hand to playing left handed when a solo comes up.
And Pete once talked about them bringing in a whole brass section and playing live with them because that's what John brought to the band.
Yet both are both underrated among guitarists and non-musicians.
Imma sorry... Imma a bit 'insane' when it comes to this subject. I get cooky over someone who died before I played bass, it really means a lot to me though.
