Your favorite unique bass shape

For the record, I think it is sexy as hell. But it looks like it is screaming to be a multi-scale bass with a staggered bridge and inverted headstock.

I absolutely covet this bass.

I like Alembic's Balance K body style, with the Heart Omega cutout on the tail end

If I were ordering one, I'd probably also add the Omega cut to the headstock....

I like the Lakland Decade, Gibson RD and Victory/Q-80, Guild B-301/302/401/402, Fender (pre-10) American Deluxe P and J, MusicMan Big Al.
But I like to play a bass of my own design one day (see pic), which is based on a reverse Gibson RD design. Look at my preferences and you see where the idea is coming from.

Wow dude, that is seriously the coolest basses I have ever seen, much, much, much appreciation for posting it man!!!! If you read my post from above you will see that I was just lamenting about how much I've always dreamed of one of these, that is sooooo sleek and sexy!!!!!!! You are my 80's bass hero dude!!!!!! (picture going in private folder) Though I think you are right, reverse headstock, staggered bridge, and imo sharkfin inlays would take it to a whole new level. And maybe some really sleek paintjob with some stripes ala Laiho style guitar or something similar. wow

In order of awesomeness from least to greatest: Thunderbirds, Gibson RD Artists, Jaguars, And Status Graphite Buzzards (Not the Warwick ones with the wimpy little headstocks!!!). Status B-2s are also cool. Though rather tame in comparison to the B-1s.

I always liked the look of the Thunderbirds, Explorers, and Iceman. Those Warwick Buzzards look interesting.
