I realised now why I am P-bass guy.
Checked all posts here, and noted, that I do not have any JB sound, that I like. I like many PLAYERS, which plays on JB, but not their JB-specific tone.
And with P bass, I can enjoy a tone from many players.

Thanks for improving my tone. I love a Jaco tone, and I'm going to try to model after this one. It's so...spunky! Thanks for making me relisten and realize how great these songs are as well.For me, the ultimate is Jaco on Pat Metheny's Bright Size Life album. The word I would use for that sound is "ravishing."
