Double header with two different bands on a hot September day, didn’t really enjoy the day, too stressed by the heat and the travel between gigs.

(And apparently playing really fast too!) Pic is 5 years old, but still the most fun I’ve ever had on a gig. We played for a teacher birthday party - my wife is a teacher, and 1/2 the school staff were there. Just a great, really memorable night. I didn’t even get hurt when I jumped off the table!

Saturday night - BL had to sit and was in so much pain he could barely play after having reverse shoulder surgery on his right shoulder 4 days earlier. He worked through it, but is taking next weekend completely off, a rare and deserved thing.

New band under construction. FUN nite!! All originals, 2 hours, home by 10, made $145, free beer and pizza! more g00d times ahead! Drummer is a dang good basser as well!

Yes, that's an American Special P Bass. If I remember correctly, I bought it used for $350 with a HSC. It was a fine bass. Not sure if they make that line anymore.
I think I only bought it because it was a good deal.
I got rid of it along with about 10 other instruments during a gear purge some years ago.

I have a black and maple American Special but it was quite a bit more than $350 but it was exactly what I wanted.

My Slipknot tribute band Sic finally made it down to Corpus Christi a few weeks ago to play Brewster Street. What a show! Super cool place and killer crowd. Came close to selling it completely out and the crowd was ROWDY!
