Your Gig Rig

hmm.. if you're talking about mine, it's actually a SVT-AV - the anniversary series they made a few year back. It's basically the same as the classic but with a silver front.
How do you set up your SVT-AV to the cab? Do you run a single feed or use two outputs to split the cab into 2-410's?

The reason I ask, I use a single cable but I'm wondering what splitting it up sounds like.

I've run two different power amps from the same preamp into my 810e (basically the same thing your trying to do) and I didn't really notice a tremendous difference. I think it would be really useful if you were running them in stereo (like a stereo delay, chorus, etc...). That way you could get the effect of "two" cabinets. The 810s just sound great when you run it all together IMO though.

That way you could get the effect of "two" cabinets. The 810s just sound great when you run it all together IMO though.


Maybe I will get some pics of my rack once my new Furman gets here and now that I have my QSC 1602 (which sounds great by the way)!
