The Giants are stinking up the NL right now. But I still have hope. I have learned from recent experience to never right them off.
Now is our chance to turn it around against the boys in blue.
It would seem that you missed your chance for that last week. In the meantime, we're going to ride the Puig train as long as we can.
Cripes, I think my son's Little League team could probably beat the oh-so-lousy Mariners.
At this point, I'd much rather watch the local minor league team play.
I see very little progress or hope for the Mariners and am becoming open to adopting another city's team. Any good suggestions?

That struck me funny about your uncles. Similar situations in different eras. My uncle used to take me to games at Forbes Field, which was the precursor to Three Rivers. Forbes Field - the very first baseball park made of concrete and steel. Okay, I'll go feed my dinosaurs now...

Dodger fan here. I grew up a Dodger fan and I too love to listen to the games on the radio while I'm working. Something about Vin Scully's voice just makes summer...well Summer. Gonna be a sad day when that guy hangs it up or passes on.

Pittsburgh finally beat Oakland, on the 12th try. Fine way to win too, a 5-0 shutout behind the pitching of Francisco Liriano.
