Woot!! Woot!! Pirates swept a double header from the Cardinals on Tuesday. Tied with Tampa for most wins in MLB.

I'm waiting to judge Wilson until after he starts pitching. He's coming off double-TJ surgery and is currently on the 15-day DL. The "weirdo-with-the-beardo" might be awesome...or not.
Wow, Boston pulled off a big deal getting Peavy.
I sort of hope the Pirates leave the roster alone, although some bullpen help would be nice with Grilli out.

I'm lovin' it! I was getting worried there in the 7th or 8th when the Pirate infielders couldn't seem to make a play. Two muffed double-play balls. But they got out of it unscathed. What a series. You're one win away from getting your earlier wish of a 5-game sweep. Something I would have been afraid to even SAY "out loud"!

Quite the show of force from the Cardinals Thursday night. Impressive way to snap a losing streak, winning 13-0. At least the Pirates took four of the five and first place.

Yikes, Pirates lose their second in a row while the Cardinals win. Only a half game lead now for the Pirates. This is going to be a fun ride down the stretch.
