This!!!!! ^

Same goes for Ramirez.

And Gonzales.

Two months ago, we would have given you Ethier, but I think he's better off where he is for the time being.

NOOOO. All Dodgers stay can't disrupt the chemistry.

Of course the media 2 months ago were like,"what do we do about don baseball is his job on the line?" Yeah right. Obviously they were just trying to stir up a story/drama. Psh.

I have to visit other ballparks. I've only been to those around me-- la, Anaheim, SF.
What ballparks have you all been too?

I'll try to go in order:

Stadiums I've been to for games:
60's Busch (Stadium of my childhood)
Wrigley (Urinal troughs. Enough said.)
Miller (Sausages!)
Coors
New Busch
New Comiskey / The Cell (Does Gordon Beckham still use "I don't want to loose your love, toniiiight" as his at-bat song?)
Nationals Park (GIANT concourses. GO TEDDY!)
The Coliseum (Right Field Bleachers are AWESOME. Love the fans there.)
AT&T (Also a couple games in a kayak in McCovey Cove)
The Big A (Carl's Jr. AND Panda Express?!)
Camden Yards (just this month -- Natty Boh and waffle fries with crab dip, please! Also, "O's" is the best nickname. Every song ever is fair game. "Oh oh oh...")

Stadiums been outside of (no games when I was in town):
Kauffman
The Jake (No longer a mistake?)
Citizens Bank (Watch out for laser pointers, tasers and getting vomited on.)
Tropicana
Safeco (Very cool retractable roof)
Petco Park
Dodgers Stadium (Got chased off by security while trying to peek through the chain link fence around the parking lot!)
Rangers Ballpark (Even the ballparks are bigger in Texas)

And The Cell is the best stadium for metal, IME. Although Oakland is right there with them. Balfour and his Metallica intro's a good sight.

After. :/ My first game there was August 2009.

It's a great run they're on this seasons. Hope they can keep it up.

Oh i am loving it...

That stadium is a mix for me... i love the fans, i love the feel of it during A's games. I absolutely hate Mount Davis and atmosphere Raiders bring to that place. Just wish Giants would stop being douches and allow A's to get a new stadium.

Well, back to watching the game/working
Go A's!!!

Augh!! Rain delay middle of the ninth!? inning!

Hoping the delay isn't a full two hours like the Root Sports crew was saying it might be and that the rain stops SOON so my Rox can come back and rally for only 3 runs to win it!!

*crossing fingers* :D

Cool move by the Brewers owner: http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/9518562/milwaukee-brewers-distribute-10-vouchers-august-games

It feels awkward to say, but at 5-5 in the last 10 games, the Pirates are floundering a little bit. :D

Five game home series with the Cardinals starts tonight. The pennant race is heating up already.

-Mike

Yeah, I'm hoping for the best, but expecting the worst with this series. They always seem to have trouble with the Cards & Reds. It would be huge if they could take the series. If not, it could be the beginning of yet another late-season collapse.

Braves lose starting pitcher Hudson to season-ending injury.

Braves trade for a 37 year old LH relief pitcher (Downs - LAA).

What?!

All I got to say is that Beachy better get back up to speed in a hurry. His start last night was not exactly stellar. Wanna see an 8 game lead evaporate?

One down, four to go Pirates. Impressive showing in game one, 9-2 win. On another Pirates note, Grilli says he will be back for the stretch run.

Tough loss for Boston last night in that tight race. Did anyone else see the bad call in the play at the plate?

-Mike

Yeah. Horrible call. That's the same umpire who blew the call in the Pirates game a couple years ago. In that game, McHenry CLEARLY made the tag at home plate and yet the (same) ump called him safe. Bucs went into a 12 game swoon and played themselves right out of a winning season.
