aztomr said:I tend to be early, last night I showed up at 5:20 for a 6:00 rehearsal. I also like to play more than everybody else, I'd play every night if the rest of the band was willing.![]()

Leaving early to go to a gig. My feeling is, I'd rather be setup and sond checked with an hour to spare, then running around 5 minutes before start time trying to find out whats buzzing.
It makes my band mates nuts!!!!
Oh well that's just TFB!
2) Somehow I am considered too neutral in taking sides in band squabbles. I am ridiculously not neutral in most aspects of my life, so I find this amusing. :hmm:
I'm an arrogant son of a bitch who expects all of his bandmates to have some professional standards, to be listening and paying attention to the music and not to overplay, drop beats or lose the time. I don't care if you go for something out of reach and miss it every now and then, in fact, I like that, but just being sloppy because you don't give a f#^$ really pushes my buttons. Being drunk or high is not an excuse. If you don't know how to play, it's not your fault, but if you do know how to play, do it right and only make the same mistake once. If you are a drummer, it's your responsibility to play in time, no matter how "creative" you want to be, so just do it. OK, got that off my chest.
