Your most playable bass?

My Xotic XJ-1T is my most playable bass. Fast neck, low action and the pickup covers are carved to anchor your thumb. Ergonomically great, especially for long gigs.
My easiest playing bass is my Gibson SG. Between being short scale and low action, it's a joy to play. My 2nd easiest is a toss up between my Am Std PBass and my Carvin LB70.
My well worked Ibanez SR505. Five years ago, if you had asked me what bass I saw myself playing the most at this point in my life, the last would be an Ibby.
The narrow spacing and flat neck make it almost guitar-like. I can fly.

My 2012 American P bass. I don't touch anything else since I got it, sold a another bass I owned since it went unused.
Out of my basses, nothing beats my stingray classic. The vintage curly maple neck is like playing with butter.
Definitely my best playing (and sounding) is my Abe Rivera Custom 4. Neck is really thin & extremely easy to play. Action is absolutely perfect for me. I've had it for 27 years & I still have never played anything that compares to it.
Fodera Emperor 5. Love it like crazy! The only reason I will sell it is to fund a custom Fodera build someday.

27 years? Can we see a better pic of it? I bet that bass has some stories to tell.
I'll have to search for or take more pics of it. It's definitely got some stories (my days at Berklee, on the road in Canada, a zillion gigs, etc., etc.

I own 7 Jazz basses currently and have played/owned many,many basses in my music career.
The most comfortable bass by a long shot is a Squier (I know!)
Vintage Modified Jazz bass, Natural. Picked it out of 3 hanging on a wall at a music store. Adjusted the truss rod and bridge and WHAM! Absolutely the best of the best. I don't understand it sometimes. I always go back and compare to my others or new basses I try out at retailers and nothing beats it. I like a thinner neck and this one has a silky smooth feel to it. And that includes any of my fretless basses.
I wish it sounded better though.
When I see one hanging in a shop I always pick it up to compare but for some reason mine is light years ahead in feel.
I guess that model was a 70's era reissue but when I try out the American '75 as well as the MIM 70's there is NO comparison. Go Squier!
