Really surprised there aren't more Orange users registering in the poll. Every Orange I've played through has had me GASing one something fierce - even the lower end Terror Bass heads.

I'm currently rocking a pre-Fender SWR Bass 350 into an Ashdown ABM 410H. Great tone, drives nicely and a really solid EQ section. The Ashdown also has a nice warm character to it. Although, I have been eyeing a couple Ampeg SVT-3 Pro's of late. Might consider picking one up once I purchase an aditional 410.

I have owned (and some of which I still own) Acoustic, Peavey, Gallien Krueger, Ampeg, Hartke, and other brands.

I have used every brand in the list, except for Sunn (just never came across one).

No amp has yet to compare to my Hartke HA5500. There is just something about it that is perfect for me and everything I do.

The one time it cut out on me (after hundreds of shows under its belt), I called Larry Hartke and he personally helped me. The amp was up and running again within days, and has not had so much as a hiccup since.

I will be a Hartke customer for as long as I can play bass.

This has been my "rig" for a while now. Has been pumpin´bass since 02.
Trusty old Eden. Good tone, two channels for two basses, has enough power to backline me on the stages and rehearsals i go to.

It used to be "compact" and "easy to gig", but by today´s standard with class D and lighter cabs, it´s a bit unpractical actually.

Sounds good, allthough i think the speakers don´t have as much push as they used to, they fart out when I go wild on the EQ. I have some slight GAS for an Aguilar setup, we´ll see

I voted Ampeg because my Magnavox era V4 is getting a lot of playing time lately. But my Mesa Walkabout Scout stack gets plenty of work. Also, my Fender PA100 modified head (aka "The Sleeper") blows some dust out regularly as well.

Gallien Krueger since 1982.

I still have my GK 400b. Not a typo. The preamp doesn't fly unless it's cranked, but that's ok, now isn't it? :hyper:

I've played through many other makes over the years and GK still sounds like me. I did have some fun with an Orange mini head (don't know the model) one time and SWR seemed to rock at one point. Lots of great amps out there and I love hearing how other dudes get their tones, but it's GK for this kid.
