as can be seen, I have never been into traditional bass playing and always tried to be as cool as the lead guitarist. Steve has really been my absolute major influence ever since and taught me that bass is way cooler than guitar could ever be.
I learned to groove from Tim, Duff and Teddy, Ryan and Justin are my extreme perspective in being a supreme player with feeling (that's why there's no Myung in my list, I know he is excellent but I hate is style).
Jason and David taught me that you can kick the mix' ass with cool individual bass riffs in music where you would never expect it
