My old “rap” group, I wasn’t a fan of the rappers style but we made some decent grooves, also the only time I sounded decent on fretless, even do a little solo at the end.

Was this recorded in the '90s? It reminds me of that jazz-infused '90s hip-hop from groups like Digable Planets.
I'm not a big fan of the rapper's style, either. I like his phrasing, but I'd rather hear a different voice doing that rap.
