My old “rap” group, I wasn’t a fan of the rappers style but we made some decent grooves, also the only time I sounded decent on fretless, even do a little solo at the end.

Not intentionally, but the hip hop I grew up on was 90’s G funk so that doesn’t surprise me.

Thanks! I used a Bad Monkey and DOD Milk Box with it too plus a Hardwire Stereo Phaser. The IR was Dr. Bonkers' Acoustic 301 bass cab (the ported cab), it gives a nice 70's style tone to the guitar too.

And I forgot that I had the Broughton SV-Pre for the bass track.

Of course I should have said "it's in the fingers, man"...
