As of now, i own 0 pedals for bass myself, so i cannot answer. Thinking about buying a B3k.

Well, somewhat more seriously, one of my pedals would have to be a looper.

So, I can't figure out too many ways that I'd end up on an island with a bass and a rig. The most likely is I'm working on a cruise, and we are doing a set on an island stop. Given that, the pedals I'd have would naturally be chosen for what I need for that day's set. The fact that I have 3 means that's all I need that day.

SA Aftershock for all drive needs (assuming I also have my phone) and the EHX Ring Thing for everything else. Not my favorite pitch-shifter but it does everything else so well. Who needs verb/delay?

And don't worry about a tuner - that's only if you need to play with other people. You can always tune your bass to itself without one

I've been very happy with two cheaper pedals for a long time now: MXR Octave and an MXR envelope filter (not counting my tuner)

OK, Stomp Under Foot Civil Unrest, EHX Enigma Q-Balls. But that's it. I'm not throwing away any more pedals!

Markbass Compressore and Tech-21 VT Bass. I can great OD or distortion of either. The Compressore gives me a huge array of compression options and contributes its own sound under heavier comp settings. It's virtually invisible otherwise. The VT has nice tone shaping and character.

Tone Hammer and Diamond Bass Compressor out of what I own.

I'm guessing that the most obvious answer, if you're stuck there for super long time is two Zoom B-3 pedals for a lot of variety.
